Who Are We?

The Wilmot Healthy Communities Coalition (WHCC) was formed in the late 1990s by people like you. Members of all ages and from all walks of life meet monthly to discuss healthy eating, physical activity, mental health, and environmental health from their own unique perspectives. Shared interests are put into action in the form of community events such as the Living Well Festival, held each Spring.

The WHCC seeks to activate community and individual strengths and to encourage cooperation among all sectors and generations, in order to create a healthy community in Wilmot Township where all people can thrive!

What are our current goals?

To increase the number of Wilmot residents who have access to and take advantage of opportunities to be regularly physically active and decrease the time spent in sedentary activities.

To increase the number of Wilmot residents who have access to and are able to prepare affordable, healthy foods, with as much of it being locally produced as possible.

To increase the number of Wilmot residents who are included and connected to their community and who have access to resources and support that build resiliency.

To reduce health problems related to adverse environmental conditions in Wilmot Township.

We'd love to have you!

If you are interested in offering your time, energy, and ideas to help the WHCC achieve the above goals, please send an email to whcc.nh@gmail.com.
